Life isn't about bein perfect. Life is about learning from your mistakes, your selfish behavior, and TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for your dumb-fuck DECISIONS, so that you aren't a victime. So that you can build CHARACTER. So that you can associate yourself with HUMILITY. So that you can become ok with just bein OK.
I don't like you any MORE if you are famous. I actually tend to KNOW that the idea of wanting to be famous shows that you are in a very big need for outside validation that isn't real, bcause for whatever reason your parents fucked up and didn't make you feel safe.

So as a parent, it pissed me off for that asswipe to tell kids to not trust their parents? Was that his message?

My prayers on the way to work this morning were about this same thing - I even said "Spencer & Heidi" - I'm a Christian, a real, born-again, Bible believin, church goin Christian and they irritate the living freakin heck out of me!
THIS is the kind of thing that turns people AWAY from God, not what draws them in - we are not told to beat people up with the Bible or bombard them relentlessly.
I am not a bold witness, it is a "downfall" of mine, but I'd rather answer for being too quiet than for making people run for anything BUT Jesus.
Jesus HIMSELF told people He HEALED to NOT SAY A WORD as to who healed them. Lead by example - let your ACTIONS speak for you - words are vain, useless babblings if there ain't nothin to back them up.
Claiming Christ and going on and on about the devil but then posing for PLAYBOY?? I'd REALLY like to know the justification for that one because in MY Bible is says to make NO provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts - I guess she has a different version, maybe the Speidi version??
Anyway, I know I sound harsh and judgmental & a friend of mine even told me I was being judgmental, but I am not judging their heart because only God can do that, I'm basing my OPINIONS on the OUTWARD antics of these two.
It says that the Father is glorified when we bear much fruit - let me see the fruit of their witnessing and I will humble myself & admit to my wrong opinions. I know I may not be a huuge fruit bearer myself, but I'm fairly confident I don't make people NOT want Jesus, at least not that I know of.
I will stop now before I turn this into an even longer rant/sermon. I don't want to be like them! haha!

Um , you don't make me like or dislike Jesus , because that just isn't part of my religion , but if i were EVER hypothetically considering converting to such a faith , the hypocrisy displayed by not only these two lost children but most of the U.S. republican and Canadian Conservative parties would have me running for the door.
The fruit-bearing thing is pretty universal to most Abrahamic faiths , but i'm pretty sure the GuyInTheSky is NOT talking about bearing one's fruit in a magazine to strangers - I mean isn't this supposed to be a MARRIED woman ?!

I absolutely believe that people should believe what they want to believe religon wise.
I am not cool with people using G-d/religion as a weapon in some arsenal of hate.
I also feel fairly certain- or at least I hope- what with famine, war and tremendous human suffering the God of my understanding does not even have the people pictured above on the radar.
My real questions are as follows and I really hope you'll answer them.
a) What is it that happens when you get mad?
and,
b) Aren't you trying to be famous as well? Isn't that why people go on reality shows and revel in the number of people who visit their blogs?
I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to be famous, going on a reality show or hoping for a successful blog if it's your cup of tea, I just wonder why you don't own it.

To me at least it isn't about the being on a reality show, or desiring fame..It's about being a hypocrite. Speidl are just that. They use God and Jesus as both crutch and shield, but don't act as Christians.

Faith, genuine and true is a beautiful thing. Walking the walk as opposed to just talking the talk...living as the bible teaches...wow.
I may not be a believer any longer, but I respect and admire those like Nika who are.
From what I have seen and read of Spencer and Heidi (altho' I guess there more to see of Heidi soon) they just whore themselves out to the highest bidder while judging and criticising anyone in their way.
