I've been wanting to say this since he died, but truthfully just kept forgetting. MY irritation comes from all these people that are continually saying they will MISS HIM.
Now, I totally get the family & friends saying that, but random strangers? Fans? "Regular" people? WHAT are they going to miss exactly?
Are they going to miss the FACT that he hasn't been in the spotlight or even the magazines or paps view for the last 5+ years? Because if you ask me, his dying doesn't make anything different in the real world since he hasn't done ANYTHING in so many years or been seen much at all.
"I'll miss him" "I already miss him" Seriously, I want to know WHAT they miss!!! Were ALL these people secretly in some deep, close & meaningful friendship or relationship with him? Did he bond with all these millions of people & NONE of us knew about it? I get the "YOU'LL" be missed thing because that can imply sympathy for his family & REAL friends...but did I meantion that he's done NOTHING in YEARS. Give me a M-F'n BREAK!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!

GO HOME AND HUG YOUR KIDS OR YOUR PARENTS OR YOUR OTHER. Stop trying to live vicariously through someone you don't know through anything other than the product they sold you and LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE.

People ,ok , drop off your flowers and say your peace and leave , or even better , donate that to a cause your "hero" respected. Go home and hug those closest to you - leave the dude's family alone - they are the human side of this equation and need to be respected.
