When this man, General Colin Powell has ANYTHING to say regarding the military, I just quietly get behind him and say, "whatever he says."
I've always thought it was incredibly lame that we would certainly allow you to volunteer to PROTECT us, but you couldn't be openly gay in the military.
We will let you pick up a rifle, stand a post, and risk your life, but we won't let you be you?
