An entire new generation of musical talent is reprising this song. So they can raise money for Haiti.
And this is great.
But make no mistake.
There will never be anything like the original.
Punk Rock, right after the Grammys. EVERY SINGLE MONSTER MUSICIAN of the generation was there.
It'll never get any bigger than this.

There was nothing Punk Rock about USA For Africa, and THE most relevant artist of the time, Prince, was not in the building.
Seek out MJ's solo demo of the song. It was recorded before he let Lionel Richie shit all over the lyrics.
Don't forget about the way the other blind dude put it down...Ray Charles rocked the spot...
